1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions of Enrolment (“Terms”) set out the agreement between The Golden Spiral International School of Homeopathy Ltd (“GSISH”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and the enrolled student (“you”, “your”).
They exist to provide clarity, transparency, and mutual understanding in support of a respectful and high-quality learning experience.
2. Definitions
Course – the programme of study you enrol on, whether delivered online, in person, via livestream, or in a blended format.
Services – teaching, learning materials, live and recorded sessions, learning platforms, and associated educational services.
Fees – the total programme fee for the Course, whether paid in full or by instalments.
Commencement Date – the date you accept these Terms.
3. Contract Formation & Acceptance
3.1 These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and GSISH.
3.2 The contract is formed when you:
confirm acceptance of these Terms (for example, by ticking a checkbox or signing an enrolment form); or
make any payment toward the Course.
3.3 Acceptance of these Terms occurs before access to course materials or teaching is provided.
3.4 By enrolling, you confirm that you have read, understood, and had the opportunity to ask questions about these Terms before accepting them.
4. Nature of Enrolment
4.1 Enrolment represents a commitment to the full Course, not a pay-as-you-go or modular service.
4.2 Instalment plans are offered as a payment convenience only and do not alter your obligation to pay the full Fees.
4.3 Non-attendance, partial attendance, or withdrawal does not change the nature of this commitment.
5. Course Delivery & Changes
5.1 GSISH may make reasonable changes to Course content, tutors, schedules, venues, or delivery format where necessary to maintain educational quality or respond to circumstances beyond our control.
5.2 Courses may be delivered online, in person, via livestream, or in a blended format.
5.3 Where required, in-person teaching may be moved online.
5.4 Such changes do not give rise to a right to a refund.
6. Learning Experience & Policies
6.1 The Learning Experience, Expectations & Online Community Agreement (“Learning Policy”) forms part of these Terms and is contractually binding.
6.2 You agree to comply with all GSISH policies, codes of conduct, guidelines, and reasonable instructions issued from time to time.
6.3 GSISH may restrict participation, suspend access, or terminate enrolment where these Terms or associated policies are breached.
7. Fees & Payment
7.1 Deposit and Enrolment
A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total course fee is required to secure a place on the programme. The deposit reserves a place that cannot be offered to another applicant and covers administrative and planning costs.
Enrolment is confirmed once the deposit has been received and accepted by GSISH.
7.2 Payment Options
Students may choose to:
pay the remaining balance by instalments in accordance with the Payment Schedule provided at enrolment; or
pay the full course fee in advance (a 10% discount on the full fees then applies)
Where the full course fee is paid in advance, the first 10% of that payment is treated as the non-refundable deposit. Any early-payment discount applies to the overall course fee and does not affect the non-refundability of the deposit.
7.3 Payment Obligation
The full course fee remains payable regardless of whether payment is made in instalments or in full, subject to the cooling-off provisions set out below.
7.4 Missed or Cancelled Instalments
If an instalment plan is cancelled or payments are missed, GSISH reserves the right to suspend access to course materials and/or require the outstanding balance to become immediately payable.
7.5 Access and Certification
Access to learning materials, progression through the programme, certification, and graduation are conditional upon fees being paid in full and compliance with the terms of enrolment.
8. Cancellation, Withdrawal & Refunds
8.1 General Position
Except where required by law, fees are not refundable once enrolment is accepted, subject to the cooling-off provisions set out below.
This includes withdrawal due to:
change of mind
illness or personal circumstances
non-attendance
partial completion of the programme
8.2 Withdrawal Before Course Start
If a student withdraws before the course start date, the non-refundable 10% deposit is retained and no further fees are payable.
Statutory Cooling-Off Period
8.3 Start of Cooling-Off Period
The cooling-off period begins from the date the course officially starts and access to course materials, teaching sessions, recordings, or platforms is granted.
Payment of a deposit or full fees prior to the course start date does not activate the cooling-off period.
8.4 Cooling-Off Refunds
If a student withdraws during the statutory cooling-off period, any fees paid beyond the non-refundable 10% deposit will be refunded. The deposit is retained.
8.5 Early Access Waiver
By accessing course materials, teaching sessions, recordings, or platforms once the course has begun, the student acknowledges the commencement of the Services and that the statutory cooling-off period has been exercised or waived in accordance with consumer law.
8.6 Discretionary Refunds
Any refund offered by GSISH outside the above provisions is entirely discretionary and does not create a precedent or entitlement.
9. Deferment
9.1 Requests to defer studies may be considered at GSISH’s discretion.
9.2 Deferment does not entitle you to a refund.
9.3 Fees applicable at the time of resumed study will apply.
10. Termination
10.1 GSISH may terminate enrolment where necessary to protect safety, the learning environment, or the integrity of the Course.
10.2 Termination does not give rise to a refund.
11. Confidentiality & Intellectual Property
11.1 Course materials remain the intellectual property of GSISH or its licensors.
11.2 You may not record, copy, share, or distribute materials without permission.
11.3 Confidentiality must be respected at all times.
12. Liability
12.1 Nothing limits liability for matters that cannot legally be excluded.
12.2 GSISH’s total liability is limited to the Fees paid.
13. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
13.1 GSISH is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control.
14. Governing Law & International Students
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14.2 Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence.
14.3 Subject to clause 14.2, disputes may be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with referenced policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and GSISH.
Acceptance
By enrolling, making payment, or participating in the Course, you confirm acceptance of these Terms.
